Just some early morning thoughts from me to you…

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…”
Psalm 46: 1-2a (NKJV)

“Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.”
Psalm 73: 23-24 (NKJV)

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41: 10 (NLT)

“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40: 29-31 (NKJV)

The days of our lives remain full of surprises.

Never failing to place us on the pathways of new journeys to travel full of uncertainty as we face the unknown before us.

Journeys often full of stretches of struggles, emptiness, loss of loved ones, reaching yet falling short of dreams, and even experiencing failures time and again.

Pathways walked with loved ones, like my Bride, going through another unexpected illness, as together we claim the healing God-given wisdom of medical professionals, and the always-present healing hand of God.

Pathways and journeys full of opportunities to watch God as He opens doors before us continuing to lead us to embrace the lives He created us to live.

Pathways where we are reminded that we can have all the world has to offer, but it will never be enough, never be all it can be—with God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

And never enough, without all the precious sacred loved ones He places in our lives.

We can have the whole world, but we will soon see that it is—never enough without God, and without them.

Christ—always there, opening us up to, and moving us toward the impact He intended for each of us to have.

Only a life with Christ will ever be enough.

Stated another way, a life without Him is—Never Enough.

In the classic song written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, these words remind us of that truth—

“All the shine of a thousand spotlights,
All the stars we steal from the night sky,
Will never be enough, never be enough.
Towers of gold are still too little.
These hands could hold the world but it’ll—
Never be enough. Never be enough.
For me. Never. Never.
Never enough. For me. For me…”

Only a life with Christ will ever be enough.

As He walks with us on the pathways of all the journeys we will face—over and around the mountains and through the valleys—with Him and those other sacred lives with whom He has blessed us.

A sacred gift like my Bride who time-after-time with her Godly-grace, made it clear to me, that without Christ, my life today would be less and never all it was intended to be, or could be.

Never enough—without Him.

Never enough—without Lynda always pointing me to Him.

Never enough. Praise God.

Bless you, my precious Bride.

With Him, we will get through this together.

Because we know that all the world has to offer is—Never Enough.

But God is always enough.
