I liken your message to the baseball player who goes 0-5 (failure) and yet marches right back into the batting cage and works on his swing in private (like the doubting Christian who seeks God in his quiet time even when he is struggling in his faith). As we saw over and over with the Founding Fathers of this great country, they routinely returned to prayers to God, especially during difficult times. Benjamin Franklin, when he and his colleagues were struggling to write the Constitution, said this to those assembled, “I therefore beg leave to move that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business.” Blessings.
