Just some early morning thoughts from me to you…

“Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!’
Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke. Then I said, ‘It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.’
Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, ‘See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.’
Then I heard the Lord asking, ‘Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?’ I said, ‘Here I am. Send me.’”
Isaiah 6: 2-8 (NLT)

“And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!’…the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him…saying,
‘Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.’”
Revelation 4: 8-11 (ESV)

One thing we don’t seem to lack in the world around us are the voices who claim to have the answers.

To everything we and the world face.

In the midst of all we face personally and beyond, there are loud voices we can listen to and follow.

Voices who claim to know the way. But to what?

Never has there been a time in more need of a voice to point the way—to health and wholeness, to healing, calm, forgiveness, providing assurance, direction, correction and eternal peace and hope.

Not a voice of false promises.

Not a voice pointing toward temporal satisfaction.

But a voice of truth.  A voice of forever.  A voice sounding out eternal assurances of Heaven beyond this temporary home.

In the passages of scripture above, we see all of creation crying out to one voice.

Declaring time and again— “Holy, Holy, Holy” is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

And “Holy, Holy, Holy” is the Lord God Almighty.

To the One who forgives our sins and missteps, and then sends us out as His voice of truth—the voice of truth of the One who was and is and is to come.

To share a message of encouragement and hope to a world in need of the assurance of forever with the Holy Lord God, when we accept His Son, the Lamb of God into our lives.

The One who Chris Tomlin, Jenn and Brian Johnson refer to in the song “Holy Forever” when they share—

“Your name is the highest, Your name is the greatest.
Your name stands above them all, All thrones and dominions.
All powers and positions, Your name stands above them all.
And the angels cry, Holy, All creation cries, Holy.
You are lifted high, Holy, Holy forever.
If you’ve been forgiven and if you’ve been redeemed,
Sing the song forever to the Lamb.
If you walk in freedom and if you bear His name,
Sing the song forever to the Lamb.
We’ll sing the song forever and amen.
And the angels cry, Holy, All creation cries, Holy.
You are lifted high, Holy, Holy forever.”

One voice. With answers of truth. One God above all else.

One God. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

One God. The Lord God Almighty

One God, One Voice—Holy Forever.

In His Name–Scott

Be blessed by this moment of worship with Chris Tomlin, Jenn and Brian Johnson as they sing “Holy Forever” in praise and worship to our God, Holy forever.
